so the Italian meatball stew i made last night was AWESOME! oh man. so tasty. and super-filling. and it wasn't hard to make, so i'm definitely going to start experimenting more with making my own soups/stews. it wasn't something that needed to sit in a crock pot all day and it still had great flavor. better than any canned soup i've had, that's for sure. i wanna try some different recipes with shrimp, chicken and beans. i'm actually excited for lunch, just so i can inhale the leftovers, haha.

another slow day at work which means i will be leaving early to head to the gym. i'm going to do the treadmill routine again and maybe some weights. i love the treadmill routine not only because it helps my speed, but also helps my endurance. my outdoor runs can be kinda tough, so having better endurance has been helping lately.

i'm also excited to try out the new sweat-proof earphones i got yesterday. one of my pairs of iPod earbuds shorted out last week from sweat, so i figured it was time to look at some sporty ones that could resist the moisture.

that's about all for today. the past couple of weeks have been flying. Can't believe we're already into the 2nd half of August. And my martial arts class starts next week!
